The building was run down and the attempted improvements were poorly done. There were many staff members standing around the nurse station, but we saw none interacting with patients. The young lady we spoke with was nice but could not answer questions fully. We noticed a sour smell within the building. When taken to another staff member to answer our questions, we were met with disinterest. They started out really trying and acted like they cared. A lack of communication on the part of staff when dealing with a severely ill patient made for a nightmare for our loved one. It’s a shame that facilitates can operate this way. From the administration to the nursing staff, zero stars would be appropriate but not an option. When I visit the facility it always smells nice and is clean.

We have been through so much with this nursing/rehabilitation center. My loved one has fallen twice where they are left alone and not checked on. We have found him half way dressed sitting the hallway late in the evening with his head hanging off the chair right in front of the nurses station.

They have tarnished my dads record with their ridiculous claims and now no other place will take him because of it. I went to Whisperwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. It's more of skilled nursing, but they do have lifetime residents there. It felt more like a nursing home, and I didn't want my parents in that kind of atmosphere. It was nice, but not a place for my parents.
